Sara Diciero borns in Argentina in 1949. Lives , paints and dreams in Buenos Aires.

Her first experiences with the arts were upon taking classes from argentine teachers (Febo Marti) in 1985. She hasn’t stopped since then. She lived in Spain for 3 years (1986-1989) where she learned: drawing and different painting techniques. During two years (1999- 2000), she was part of the Tea Group, co-ordinates by the artist Marino Santa María and the art critic Rosa Faccaro.

Sara Diciero has taken part in over 390 national and international exhibitions, she was admitted in many municipal, national and private contests where she won 49 awards.. She has appeared in 28 solo exhibitions.

Sara Diciero’s artwork has a creative originality. Since 1999, Diciero has been experimenting with the idea of lighting the artwork from behind. She uses oil paint on resin sheets to create the support of her luminous boxes or backlights, which she then exhibits in groups as installations.

Diciero was chosen in 2005 from Chihuahua-Mexico by the writer Reyna Armendáriz González, to ilustrate the poetry book Estuario: remotas estancias.

Since December of 2005 until September of 2006, she was representated exclusively in USA by Eighth Elephant Contemporary Art Gallery in New York City, Brooklyn, Dumbo. Nowadays, her artworks can be found in private international collections in countries such as Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Chile, Dinamarca, France,  Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Peru, Puerto Rico and [-]. She continuously keeps improving her skills; she has done different specialization courses and figures in many books, CDs, websites and publications about Contemporary Art.

Free and safe delivery

When you purchase art at Artelista, you have at your disposal thousands of artworks by artists from around the world, from up to 170 different countries, and we don't want the delivery costs to be a problem when you want to enjoy the best art. Additionally, for your tranquility, the artwork is insured with the company Allianz Insurances during shipping, so we will handle everything if, unfortunately, the artwork is damaged before being delivered.

The estimated delivery time for Artelista fine art prints is 5-7 working days, whereas in the case of original artworks, it would vary depending on the origin country. Once the artist notifies us the artwork is ready for shipment, the delivery will be in the following 24-72 hours. These delivery times may be altered by custom clearance events, especially when the origin country of the artwork belongs to a different cross-national agreement (EU,NAFTA,etc.). Shipments from Argentina, Colombia or Cuba need of a special authorization for the exportation of artworks, so it is important to have this into account when calculating the delivery date.

Bear in mind we are dealing with works of art, so they may be in an exhibition (actually, this is awesome!). Those artworks which are in an exhibition are usually displayed as “non-available”. In case the artwork has been put up for sale, take into account the artist would have to manage with the organization of the exhibition the return of the artwork in order to be able to realize the shipment.
